The real estate market has been investing in improvements around its projects. An example is Rua Juquiá, in Leblon, which will gain the status of an artistic street. The construction company Mozak will be responsible for the intervention. According to the company, the former Comlurb space will be transformed into the Essência development, which will bring culture and art to the neighborhood. In addition, several artists will contribute to renovating the sidewalk and galleries around the area, which will be renamed Largo do Piva, in honor of the memory of architect André Piva. The art curation is by architect Vanessa Borges, Piva’s former partner. “The idea is to present the city’s residents and visitors with a new artistic and cultural hub”, says Isaac Elehep, president of Mozak.
