Trial against Trump postponed indefinitely

United States District Judge Aileen Cannon postponed this Tuesday (May 7, 2024) the trial of former US President Donald Trump indefinitely. Trump faces 88 criminal charges in 4 separate courts, including a Manhattan Supreme Court trial for making a secret payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. Additionally, he is accused of conspiring to overturn his 2020 election defeat in Washington DC, and faces election interference charges in Georgia.
