It’s bizarre, but it really happened. Security agents at a checkpoint at Miami International Airport, in the United States, detected a bag of snakes that was hidden in a passenger’s pants on April 26.
The discovery was released this week by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The reptiles almost boarded a flight, but ended up ‘safe’.
“This bag of snakes was detected hidden in a passenger’s pants,” the TSA reported in a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), which shows two small snakes that were found in what appears to be a bag for storing sunglasses.
Local authorities were alerted to what had happened and the two small snakes “were turned over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.”
