Boy dies after being forced by his father to run to lose weight

-

A man is accused of murdering his own 6-year-old son who was in his care in the United States. Christopher Gregor, 29, placed his son (Corey T. Micciolo) on a treadmill and forced him to run on the device until he was exhausted. The case occurred in April 2021, but only gained greater proportions this week with the father’s accusation of murder.

The boy, aged 6 at the time, died days later after feeling ill and suffering a seizure. The boy’s mother accused his father, Christopher Gregor, of attacking her son and forcing him to exercise.

In the images — shown during the trial (see the video at the end of the article) —, Gregor forces his son to run on a gym treadmill. The boy falls and falls three more times when trying to get back to the equipment.

According to the indictment, Corey woke up days later with impaired speech, nausea and difficulty walking. When she was taken to the hospital she told doctors that she had been forced to run on the treadmill by her father, who told his son that he was too fat.

While still in the hospital, during an examination, Corey suffered a seizure and died.

The boy’s mother, who also accuses the father of beating her son, cried when she saw the images during the trial.
