Sandra (Giullia Buscacio) will have an ugly argument with João Pedro (Juan Paiva), to the point of giving up living with him in Renascer. The problem is that, with nowhere to go, she will need to return to Egídio’s (Vladimir Brichta) house — who will not be happy about having to welcome his daughter on Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
The colonel will even take her back, but first, he will horribly humiliate her in the serial adapted by Bruno Luperi. He will say that she is no longer welcome, call her “unhappy” and say that he doesn’t want to see her in his house anymore. Already hurt by her boyfriend’s rejection, the girl will suffer a lot.
She will, after all, decide to break off the relationship because João Pedro will have said that his heart is already occupied, and that he cannot love someone with the same intensity that he loves Mariana (Theresa Fonseca).
The two, in fact, will have a fight, which will end up leading to the fateful breakup conversation between José Inocêncio’s son (Marcos Palmeira) and his girlfriend.
With that, Sandra will pack her bags and knock on her parents’ door. Dona Patroa (Camila Morgado) will almost fall backwards with the appearance of her daughter.
“For the wounds of Christ! Sandra?! Daughter of heaven… You almost scared me to death. I wasn’t expecting that, daughter…”, the woman will say, running to hug the rebel. “I… I thought it was better to go back…”, the young woman says, about to collapse.
Egídio will get involved in the conversation. “Then go back the same way you came, have you ever on one You are more welcome in this house!”, the colonel will conclude. The housewife will even try to intervene for her daughter, but the scoundrel will be firm: “on one I want this unfortunate woman in my house!”
Renascer was written and created by author Benedito Ruy Barbosa. The first version aired on Globo in 1993. Bruno Luperi is the novelist’s grandson and responsible for adapting the rural saga that premiered in prime time in January. The remake will be on air until September.
