LGBTQIAP+ Pride Month – or simply Pride Month – occurs annually in June in the USA. Celebrated by several companies in Brazil It is in the worldthis year’s edition already has strong support: Apple today announced the launch of its new “Pride” linefeaturing a new band and watch face for the Apple Watch, as well as a dedicated wallpaper for the iPhone and iPad.
“Through the new Pride collection, Apple is proud to continue its support of LGBTQIAP+ advocacy organizations whose efforts are bringing positive change, including ILGA World, a global federation committed to advancing the rights of LGBTQIAP+ people In all world; and the Human Rights Campaign, a global advocacy group working to ensure that all LGBQIAP+ people are treated as full and equal citizens,” Apple said in a statement.
The most prominent item in the collection is certainly the bracelet Apple Watch: the new model is braided in a loop and should arrive in American stores from May 22, 2024.
Dynamic wallpapers – which will fit the Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad – will arrive “soon”: Apple has not confirmed a date, but said that they will all come as an update to iOS 17.5. The image features multicolored light designs that, when looked at from the front, form the word “Pride” (“Pride”, in English).
On the Apple Watch, the watch face – or its “face”, if you want to be more technical – has a similar design, with very evident and colorful numbers whose color intensity changes depending on the position of your eyes.
The global launch of the bracelet is scheduled for the 23rd of this month. iOS 17.5 does not yet have an arrival date. Recently, however, Apple released its fourth beta versionwith some benefits that we can expect in the final version.
