Claro starts sales of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro with promotion to celebrate Mother’s Day

Claro started, on Tuesday (23), sales of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The brand’s new premium cell phone arrived in Brazil as a more affordable option to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S24, bringing artificial intelligence features, renewed cameras and good performance hardware to gain space in the national market.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, the operator is launching the “Buy and Take” promotion. With the initiative, customers can purchase the Motorola Edge 50 Pro for R$1,399 in the Claro Post 300 GB plan (150 GB + 150 GB for social networks and video) in Multi, and also get the 128 GB Moto G34 for R$799 upfront. Offer is valid until May 14, 2024.

The purchase of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro can be paid in up to 24 interest-free installments on Bradesco cards. To get a Moto G34 5G for R$799 up front (or 24x R$33.30), simply hire a new dependent on the plan for R$50/month, subject to loyalty. The offers are now available for new customers and those who are already Claro users.

It is worth remembering that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch curved screen with P-OLED technology, “Super HD” resolution of 1,220 x 2,712 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel has a centralized hole that houses its 50 MP front camera, capable of recording videos in “selfie” format with 4K resolution @ 30 FPS.

At the rear, the cell phone has a triple set of cameras represented by the main sensor with a 50 MP sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS) and support for recording videos in up to 4K @ 30 FPS. The second lens is ultrawide, and has a 13 MP sensor. Finally, there is a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 10 MP sensor.

One of the highlights of the cell phone is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a platform manufactured using 4-nanometer lithography which sports an 8-core CPU at up to 2.63 GHz. The GPU is the Adreno 720. The model is sold on the national market with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and supports 125 W recharging.

Other specifications include a fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen, support for contactless payments with NFC, speakers with Dolby Atmos, artificial intelligence features for photo optimization and the Android 14 operating system.
