The special scheme will be implemented mainly at the stations: Cardinal Arcoverde/Copacabana, Siqueira Campos/Copacabana and Cantagalo/Copacabana.

To the other stations in the metro system will operate normally, from 5 am to midnightand after the usual closing time, They will only be open for the show’s public to disembark.

When going to the show, the concessionaire advises that you disembark be done at Siqueira Campos station.

Cardeal Arcoverde station will only be open for arrivals from 4pm to 10pm. After this time, only for boarding with pre-purchased cards or contactless payment method (NFC).

Purchasing the card in advance is also a recommendation from the metro – to facilitate round-trip boarding. The fare is R$7.50 for the departure and R$7.50 for the return.

On the way home, the ideal is to board at Siqueira Campos. The Cardeal Arcoverde/Copacabana and Cantagalo/Copacabana stations will also be open for public boarding.

On Saturday, line 2 will operate between Pavuna and General Osório/Ipanema, and lines 1 and 4 will follow the route Uruguay/Tijuca and Jardim Oceânico/Barra da Tijuca. Transfers between lines 1 and 2 can be made in the section between General Osório/Ipanema and Central do Brasil/Centro stations.

Promoters of the Riocard card will guide the public in purchasing and recharging cards. The teams will be at the Jardim Oceânico, Cantagalo, Siqueira Campos and Cardeal Arcoverde stations. Opening hours will vary between 11am and 4am, depending on the season.

Next day operation

On Sunday (5), as usual, metro operating hours will continue from 7am to 11pm.

Line 2 will run between Pavuna and Botafogo, and the integration between lines 1 and 2 can be done in the section between Central do Brasil/Centro and Botafogo stations. Lines 1 and 4 will follow the Uruguay-Jardim Oceânico/Barra da Tijuca route. The Surface Metro (MNS) will operate from 7am to 10:30pm.

  • Skateboards
  • Skates and scooters

  • Walking barefoot, shirtless or in swimwear
