The Galaxy S23 from Samsung becomes part of the program Certified Re-Newed. This way, some of the company’s most popular devices may have their useful life extended for a while longer. In general, this initiative also has a sustainability side, as it causes less environmental impact by avoiding the disposal of devices.
The brand itself announced the news this week and, according to it, all devices in the Galaxy S23 line can be found for purchase on its website in the United States. As expected, cell phones can be purchased at a reduced price compared to 100% new models.
What is Samsung Certified Re-Newed?
To summarize, this program is a bit similar to the initiative of some stores to sell refurbished or open box products. However, Samsung claims that its difference is offering a wide range of tests to confirm that the available devices are ready for people to use them normally.
According to the company itself, the inspection is carried out extensively, a 147-point inspection, in addition to other tests and replacement of original parts. This entire procedure is carried out by the company’s own technicians and in addition to the lower commercial value, customers can also have access to a 1-year warranty, just like on new products.
