Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) this Monday (1st). And the manufacturer describes the device – which already comes with the S Pen (branded pen) – as “an elegant tablet designed for work and entertainment”.

The tablet also comes with a case (in the same color as the device). The accessory offers up to two support angles for the screen and also protects both the front and back when closed. AS Pen is also protected, as it can be magnetically attached to the inside of the case or to the edge of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024).

Design and performance
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) features a metallic design in two colors: gray and pink. The tablet is compact and light (weighs 465 grams in the Wi-Fi version or 467 grams in the LTE2 version). Additionally, it has a 10.4-inch screen with a thin, symmetrical nine-millimeter bezel.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) also has a battery that allows up to 14 hours of uninterrupted video playback, according to Samsung. The manufacturer also guarantees that users will be able to perform multiple tasks more efficiently thanks to the “ability to manipulate applications effortlessly”.
Usability
According to the manufacturer, the new tablet allows you to accurately capture ideas quickly and pleasantly. This is because users can write or draw with the S Pen, whether creating in Samsung Notes or writing down their thoughts – all without having to unlock the tablet. AS Pen does not have a battery and does not need to be charged, so “it is always ready for when creativity arises”, as announced by the company.
The brand adds that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is “fully compatible” with Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Buds FE, capable of maintaining connectivity between multiple devices. With the updated Android system and One UI, users can enjoy the Galaxy ecosystem.
Among the facilities for using Samsung devices together (cell phone, tablet, watch, headphones), the brand highlights: answering calls from your Galaxy cell phone using your tablet, resuming open internet pages, copying and pasting, or even transferring files via Quick Share (similar to Apple’s AirDrop).
Availability
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is available in Brazil from this Monday. The 64 GB version with Wi-Fi connectivity has a suggested price of R$ 2,499 and the 64 GB version with 4G connection has a suggested price of R$ 2,699.
Samsung also announced an exclusive version of the new tablet on the Student Portal. This version has double the memory (128GB), 4G connectivity and special conditions, with a suggested price of R$2,799.
