It’s not just with friends and family that you need to be careful this April 1st. Google also loves to take advantage of the date to prank its users. In 2007, the company launched a supposed program that used the toilet’s sewage system to offer free Wi-Fi. Years later, a video was published featuring a “smart garden gnome” designed to help users with outdoor tasks. Of course, none of these services are real, but Google’s pranks are so elaborate that you need to be careful not to be fooled.
