From this May 1st, the Vehicular UBV (Fumacê) will be held in some neighborhoods of Itamonte. The criteria for defining the neighborhoods covered were in accordance with the largest number of recent cases, using SINAN Online as a data source.
The vehicle is provided by the State Department of Health and meets the demand of several municipalities. Itamonte had been on the waiting list since March 5th.
The restriction in relation to the number of neighborhoods is due to the high demand from municipalities requesting Fumacê Veicular, which are still on the waiting list, and also due to the fact that there is a shortage of the insecticide used by the Ministry of Health, therefore, it will not be carried out throughout the municipality.
In some neighborhoods not covered by Fumacê, intra-household insecticide application will be carried out later, with criteria for defining neighborhoods according to the rate of recent cases (still being defined with the State Health Regional), but only in some neighborhoods.

Insecticide application actions by endemic disease agents, using backpack pumps, will be carried out in blocks with positive cases, prioritizing neighborhoods that are not included in any of the previous actions.
