The fourth generation of the iPhone SE is under development and several rumors suggest that Apple is planning a major redesign for the device. In recent months, leaks have reinforced that the cell phone’s design has undergone several changes compared to the iPhone SE 3.

New images of leaked iPhone SE 4 cases revealed the size of the device and that the Cupertino giant should adopt more modern launch solutions for its new device.

Last week, it was revealed that BOE would supply OLED screens for the iPhone SE 4. Apparently, the cell phone should feature a 6.1-inch screen with Face ID, abandoning Touch ID. With this, Apple would abandon the iPhone 6 look for the SE line, something that had already lasted too long.

In design, the iPhone SE 4 may adopt visual elements from the iPhone 14 with flat sides and a small notch to house the front sensor and Face ID. Images of the cases were shared by tipster Majin Bu, with the notch close to the size of the iPhone 13 line.

At the back, you can see the iPhone SE 4 with just one sensor, flash and microphone. The design is reminiscent of the iPhone XR module, with the company reserving additional sensors for more expensive models.

Finally, the iPhone SE 4 case shows the cell phone’s side design. Based on the volume button, it is safe to say that the device will not feature the new action button, something that rumors had mentioned, but a mute button.
