Minas announced, this Wednesday (8/5), the signing of striker Willian Doardo, who played in Europe and Asia and defended Guarulhos, from São Paulo, last season.
The 27-year-old from Paraná is the third reinforcement from Minas Gerais for the 2024/2025 season. The club announced the return of Senegalese Aboubacar Dramé, who plays for the Brazilian team and was at Tours, in France, and the signing of Iranian setter Javad Karimi, who comes from Arcada Galati, in Romania.
Willian Doardo’s career
The pointer started his career at Campinas, in the 2016/2017 season, before heading to Asian volleyball – to Dar Kulaib, from Bahrain. He returned to Brazil, to defend Itapetininga, and then went to play for Saint-Nazaire, in France.
After playing for French volleyball, Willian returned to his home country to play for São José. Afterwards, he returned to play in Asia and Europe: he played for Solgan Spor, in Turkey, for Nice, in France, and for Al Jazira, in the Emirates. United Arabs.
Last season, Doardo signed with Guarulhos, where he was champion of São Paulo.
