The victory went to Lando Norris, but it is Charles Leclerc who is optimistic about F1. After seeing his opponent beat Max Verstappen and Red Bull at the Miami GP, the Monegasque is excited about Ferrari’s upgrades for Imola.
The race on the urban circuit in the city of Florida brought McLaren’s first changes in the 2024 season. In fact, it was the young Brit who made all the changes to his car – more than ten -, all focused on performance. The bet paid off, after all, Lando achieved his first triumph.
Now, it will be the Maranello team who will bring updates to the track, scheduled for the Emilia-Romagna GP, the next stop on the calendar. “I think the season will be one of updates. We have ours coming soon and that will define the rest of the season a little for us”, he said.
“So we have to work hard and hopefully these changes will be as good as theirs and help us take a significant step forward.”
