Rome Italy) – One of the most traditional tennis tournaments, with almost a hundred years of history since its inauguration in 1930, the Rome Open will have its 81st edition in 2024, which starts next Wednesday. To promote the event, the organization prepared a real light show at the iconic Trevi Fountain, one of the postcards of the Italian capital and which receives around 10.5 million visitors every year.

During the presentation last Friday night, some names that will be at Foro Italico this year were announced, such as Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, among others. Although their participation is at risk due to physical problems, Russian Daniil Medvedev and local idol Jannik Sinner were also mentioned, unlike Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who hours earlier had already announced his withdrawal from the tournament.
