At 21 years old, the player had his name published in the CBF BID, which enables him to take the field for the new club. With this, he is ready to debut in the next match, which will be against Flamengo, this Sunday (28), at 11 am (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
The signing of Cuiabano aims to strengthen Botafogo’s left-back, bringing more options to the coach and increasing internal competitiveness. Currently, the position is occupied by Hugo, who has been the target of protests from the fans. With the arrival of the new player, a healthy competition for the title is expected, which could raise the team’s level of performance in this sector.
In his first interview as a black and white player, Cuiabano was full of praise for his new club and demonstrated that he was aware of the importance of the classic against Flamengo. Comparing it to the famous Gre-Nal classic, the full-back highlighted the need to approach the game with determination and focus on victory.

When will Flamengo’s next game be?
In April, Flamengo will face a schedule full of challenges, competing in three different tournaments. Under the command of coach Tite, the team will play matches in the Campeonato Carioca, Copa Libertadores and Campeonato Brasileiro.
