Vila token owners were informed this Thursday that the amounts relating to the solidarity mechanism for the sale of PSG striker Neymar to Al Hilal, from Saudi Arabia, were recorded on the platform, operated by Mercado Bitcoin. Each owner received R$10.27 per unit.

According to the French press, the club will pay 100 million Euros (around R$540 million) to Paris Saint Germain for the Brazilian in the middle of last year. The player is currently injured and could return to Santos in 2025.

O Santos is entitled to 3.66% of all Neymar transfers through FIFA’s solidarity mechanism. This amount will be distributed among the 614,790 tokens offered by the Token da Vila project.

Under the agreement with Mercado Bitcoin, operator of the project, Santos received R$30 million in advance and was left with 104,051 tokens. The club then received around R$1 million this Thursday.

Initially sold for R$50, the Vila Token was being traded for R$10.00 late this Thursday afternoon. Those who purchased the initial offer have so far received R$17.65 per unit through negotiations by Yuri Alberto and Gustavo Henrique.
