The journalist Nadja Haddad showed one of her twin babies. She and her husband Danilo Joan had their twins José and Antônio just over a week ago. Unfortunately, the babies were born very premature, at just 24 weeks of gestation, which is equivalent to six months.
Nadja then made a request to the population regarding her twins who are in the neonatal ICU. “Our children were born just over a week ago, and we are here to make a very special and important request. José and Antônio, our boys, were born very premature and they urgently need blood donations, all types are very welcome. As a mother, I urgently ask that you who are there donate blood, donate life to our boys. You can go to the São Paulo blood bank or the Santo André blood bank, we really hope you can help. And may God repay you”, she asked.
The husband of Nadja Haddad He further stated: “I have never been a blood donor and today I see the need to be one because my children are in need and tomorrow I can be yours too. We count on your collaboration.”
And now Nadja has also updated on how her babies are doing. “I want to thank all of you who donated blood, I just got out of the neo ICU and José was already receiving blood that you donated, you are donating life to my children and that is priceless. There are no words that represent my gratitude and I have been praying every day for each one of you who sent me a message, went there, donated”, she said.
Nadja Haddad also stated: “Hey people! Today was the first day that I was out on the street, walking, seeing movement, a good feeling. I had a follow-up with the obstetrician and everything is fine. And today I want to talk about donation and love. I want to thank you who donated, I had the opportunity to meet one of the nurses at the blood bank where my children are and she was very grateful because this donation is helping my children and the other babies there. I stay at the hospital all day, today I leave for the appointment.” Nadja’s husband was still emotional when he showed the little hand of one of his babies.
