O Dream Toura championship that represents the elite of Brazilian surfing, a partnership between Dream Factory and the Brazilian Surfing Confederation (CBSurf), is back with an intense season for 2024. The Circuit continues, for the second consecutive year, with the biggest prize pool in Brazilian surfing – there are R$400,000 in prize money equally distributed between men and women, thus strengthening the panorama of the sport in Brazil.

After the success of the inaugural season in 2023, where six stages attracted the attention of fans and the media, the Dream Tour returns even more powerful. Consolidating itself as the main showcase for Brazilian surfing talent, the tournament saw the rise of names such as champion Tainá Hinckel, who not only won the national title, but also secured her place in the 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place in Teahupoo, in Tahiti.

“We are experiencing a beautiful year of resumption of the Brazilian Surfing Circuit, generating an audience of 75 million total impacts, considering media actions, press coverage, our coverage real time and live broadcasts. We spent almost 300 hours in the air! Surf fans, athletes, sponsor and partner brands, and host cities have all embraced the Dream Tour. We are very excited about this year” – reveals Luana Cloper, Head of Product at Dream Tour.

With four stages scheduled, the Circuit already has a confirmed location for the first of them: Porto de Galinhas, in Pernambuco. This strategically chosen northeastern paradise promises to offer good waves at the famous Praia do Cupe, the perfect setting for the competitors’ exhibitions and maneuvers.

Calendar 2024:

1st stage – May 28th to June 3rd, Porto de Galinhas – PE
2nd stage – July 16th to 22nd, location to be determined
3rd stage – September 17th to 23rd, location to be determined
4th stage – November 5th to 11th, location to be determined

In addition to the exciting confrontation between 88 elite athletes, the Dream Tour continues to invest in socio-environmental responsibility initiatives, seeking to minimize their impact and contribute to the sustainability of the environment they love so much.

“All the results of our first season were far beyond what was expected and now, for the second year of Dream Tourwe can say that we will have new promises of the sport present in the competition, in addition to a lot of adrenaline, excitement and good waves, always on the best beaches in Brazil”, concludes Teco Padaratz, President of CBSurf.

Some of the country’s main companies chose to invest in the promises of Brazilian surfing through Dream Tour. PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil, recognized for its expertise in oil production in mature fields, is the holder of the Championship’s Present Quota, collaborating with the development of the sport in the country.

Gerdau, the largest Brazilian company producing steel and the largest recycler of metal scrap in Latin America, continues, for another year, as Sponsor of the event. “It is with satisfaction that Gerdau joins, for the second consecutive year, the main Brazilian surfing championship, contributing to the development of new athletes and reinforcing the importance of sport as an agent of social inclusion and engagement in sustainable practices”, says Pedro Torres, global director of Communication and Institutional Relations at Gerdau.

Estácio brings its expertise in education to the Dream Tour, also renewing Local Support which, in 2023, provided scholarships to athletes, thus contributing to growth and development, which goes beyond maneuvers, for participants. Corona, made with 100% natural ingredients, repeats its participation in the Circuit as a Sponsor, bringing a unique experience to competitors and lovers of the sport in Brazil.

O Dream Tour quotas remain available and new partners will be presented soon.
