The Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) released this Tuesday (23/4) the squad list for the men’s Nations League. It is from this list of 30 names that coach Bernardinho will choose those called up for the competition.

So far, the commander has called up the following players for training in preparation: Brasília, Felipe Roque, Arthur Bento, Daniel Muniz, Paulo, Isac, Judson, Lucão, Otávio, Alê Elias and Maique.

Maracanãzinho, in Rio de Janeiro, will host the first week of the Nations League (VNL) – a competition that is the final test for the Paris Olympic Games. The dispute on Rio soil will take place in May, between the 21st and 26th.

Brazil’s debut will be against the Cuban team, on May 21st. The other teams in contention are Argentina, Italy, Iran, Japan, Serbia and Germany.

  • Lifters: Matheus Brasília (São José), Bruninho (Modena), Fernando Cachopa (Monza), Rhendrick (Joinville) and Thiaguinho (Sesi);
  • Opposites: Abouba (Tours), Alan Souza (Olsztyn), Chizoba Neves (Nantes), Darlan Souza (Sesi), Felipe Roque (São José) and Wallace (Cruzeiro);
  • Pointers: Adriano Xavier (Campinas), Arthur Bento (Minas), Birigui (Chaumont), Daniel Muniz (Suzano), Henrique Honorato (Joinville), Yoandy Leal (Piacenza), Ricardo Lucarelli (Piacenza), Lukas Bergman (Sesi), Mauricio Borges (Campinas) and Paulo Vinicios (Minas);
  • Centrals: Flavio (Perugia), Isac Santos (Minas), Judson (Suzano), Lucão (Cruzeiro), Matheus Pinta (São José) and Otávio Pinto (Cruzeiro);
  • Liberos: Alexandre Elias (Cruzeiro), Maique (Minas) and Thalles (Líbero).
