More than 20 services from the Mato Grosso State Traffic Department (Detran-MT) can be done online via the authority’s website or through the MT Cidadão app. The availability of online services provides more practicality, agility and avoids the need for citizens to travel to Detran units, optimizing time and resources.

“We already have more than 20 services in the area of ​​Driving Licenses and Vehicles available online for the entire population of Mato Grosso. Among them, two are the most sought after, the issuance of the Licensing and the Renewal of the CNH. The current management has prioritized offering more services online, to make life easier for citizens”, highlighted the president of Detran-MT, Gustavo Vasconcelos.

It is important to highlight that, for the services of exchanging a Mercosul license plate, changing the municipality and transferring ownership, it is necessary to carry out a vehicle inspection, which must be scheduled through the application itself or through the Detran-MT website (www.detran.mt .gov.br).

Some Detran-MT services still remain in person: opening the process for the first driver’s license, changing and adding the license category, process of transferring driver’s license from another state, foreigner registration, changing registration data (name, mother’s name , CPF number) that need to be reported to Senatran, image collection, in addition to vehicle inspection, change of vehicle characteristics, engine rewriting and replacement and chassis rewriting.

To carry out any of the in-person services, an appointment is required, which must be done via the Detran website.
