How was the match

The match started with Joinville serving, but even so it was Sesi-Bauru who scored the first point with Éder. With the São Paulo team scoring successive points, coach Peu stopped the game several times to try to get the team back together.

Thiaguinho was the highlight of the first set. Sesi-Bauru scored seven points in a row and opened a ten-point lead. On set point, Honorato put the ball on the ground, but it ended up hitting the net, handing the point and the first set to Sesi-Bauru 25-17.

The second set was more competitive, even so the São Paulo team remained ahead on the scoreboard the entire time. Due to an attack error by Wallaf, the ball did not go over the net, and the second set ended with another victory for Sesi-Bauru, this time 25-20.

With an incredible performance from Lukas Bergmann, coach Anderson Rodrigues’ team continued to dominate the third set against a disorganized Joinville. The decisive set also had the most spectacular rally of the game, which ended with a point for Joinville after great defenses from both teams.

Darlan scored the winning point and ended the set 25-20 once again. With 3 sets to 0, Sesi-Bauru guarantees a place in the final. Lukas Bergmann, a 20-year-old revelation, won the Viva Vôlei Award for best on the court.

Sesi-Bauru will face Campinas in the final of the Men’s Superliga, who eliminated Guarulhos in the semifinals. The big decision will be on Sunday (28), starting at 10am, at Ginásio Geraldão, in Recife. Globo and sportv broadcast the match.
