Athletes from Quatro Pontes participate in the opening ceremony of the 6th Cresol Giant Volleyball League – ESPORTES

The opening ceremony of the 6th Cresol Giant Volleyball League took place on Tuesday afternoon (02), in the city of Entre Rios do Oeste.

The ceremony took place at the Clube dos Idosos Alegria de Entre Rios do Oeste and brought together the 12 teams competing in the competition in 2024, namely: Quatro Pontes, Itaipulândia, São Miguel do Iguaçu, Missal, Nova Santa Rosa, Mercedes, Assis Chateaubriand, Pato Bragado, Marechal Cândido Rondon, Matelândia, Toledo, the hosts Entre Rios do Oeste, leaders of the Cresol cooperative, sponsor of the competition, and municipal authorities from several municipalities, including from Quatro Pontes the Municipal Secretary of Culture and Sports, Cleunice Majolo and the Director from the Sports Department, Gustavo Heep, in addition to the athletes and coaching staff.

With great excitement, the athletes took part in a delegation parade, took an oath and received an athlete’s kit from the cooperative containing a towel, bottle and bag. After the ceremony, there was a matinee dance with the band Gralha Azul.
