Manager of Campinas, runner-up team in the Men’s Volleyball Super League, Fernando Maroni admitted negotiating for Bruninho, setter for the Brazilian National Team. The player has already confirmed his return to Brazil and expressed his desire to stay close to his family.
Rumors of Bruninho’s possible signing began over the weekend, after the Superliga final. On that occasion, Campinas was defeated by Sesc by 3 sets to 0 and finished runner-up. In an interview, Maroni commented on his interest in Bruninho.
“It’s a possibility. It’s not that simple due to his size and everything that Bruno represents for the sport, but there is indeed interest on both sides and I think it has everything to have a very cool outcome.”
