Next Thursday, press conferences for Formula 1 drivers will be held in Japan, six drivers will be present and Max Verstappen, absent in Australia, is one of those confirmed.

In addition to the Dutchman, Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly, George Russell, Yuki Tsunoda and Alexander Albon will be present. The presence of Verstappen, Tsunoda and Albon should raise questions about Red Bull’s second driver in 2025, as Sergio Perez’s contract ends at the end of this year.

On Friday, between FP1 and FP2, the team managers’ press conference takes place. Toto Wolff, from Mercedes, confirmed his presence in Japan, contrary to previous information. The German team is looking to recover in the championship, being 71 points behind Red Bull Racing after just three races. James Vowles (Williams), Bruno Famin (Alpine) and Ayao Komatsu (Haas) complete the team of bosses who will speak to the press.
