According to Cruzeiro, Arthur Gomes and Dinenno were not related due to physical exhaustion. The celestial club occupies Group B of the South American Championship, alongside Unión La Calera, from Chile, Universidad Católica, from Ecuador, and Alianza FC, from Colombia.
On the other hand, left-back Kaiki, recovered from a muscle injury to his right thigh, was once again listed.
