O Palm trees released this Monday the list of players registered to compete in the group stage of the CONMEBOL Libertadores 2024. In total, 48 players are present on the list, including midfielder Rômulo, who could make his debut for the team in the competition.

The team led by Abel Ferreira faces San Lorenzo, this Wednesday, at the Nuevo Gasómetro Stadium, in the first round of the group stage of the competition. The ball rolls at 9:30 pm (Brasília time).

In addition to the 32 athletes who are part of the current squad, 16 athletes from the under-20 team were listed. The attackers Dudu (right knee surgery), Bruno Rodrigues (right knee surgery) and defender Michel (physical transition) were also registered. The trio is currently out of action, but will soon be able to reinforce the team.

The club will be able to promote up to five changes before the start of the round of 16, another three before the quarterfinals and another three before the semifinals. The group stage will be played between April 2nd and May 30th.
