Casimiro Miguel apologized to a CazéTV viewer who received attacks on the internet for criticizing him and suggesting that he supported a rapist. In a post on X, the user complained about the presenter praising the football player on broadcasts. “I beg Casimiro and CazéTV, who I have always praised, to stop separating the author from the work and stop praising Neymar. The internet user mentioned Neymar and his family’s support for Daniel Alves during the trial that convicted him of raping a woman in Spain. The former player was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison, but was released after paying a million-dollar bail.

Casimiro was irritated by the accusations made by the spectator and lost control when rebutting the comment. The situation got out of control when the internet user had to change her username and name on X to try to contain attacks and threats from the presenter’s fans.

This Monday (1st), he apologized: “Yesterday, after the broadcast, I opened my Twitter notifications and saw a thread from a girl talking about CazéTV. The subject gained momentum here and from a respectful thread it escalated to some attacks me and my family.”

“This made me feel really bad and meant that, when I got home and opened my live stream, I talked about the post angrily and in a rude way, mixing topics and leaving the real and important topic of the text aside, generating a flood of unacceptable responses to the original post,” he added.

I sincerely apologize to the girl whose night was ruined by this. I ended up only responding to the insults linked to the post and not the post itself, which was a fair comment on our work.

“I made a mistake and caused this, when I could have just absorbed the criticism that came in a polite way and made sense. I’ve been making f*cking mistakes lately, but I’m going to correct that”, concluded Casimiro Miguel in a publication made on X.
