City Hall provides materials and preparatory classes for the Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympiad

During the 2nd and 3rd of May, Arapiraca City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Education, will promote, at the Municipal Planetarium and Casa da Ciência, preparatory classes for the Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympiad (OBA).

The activities will be made available, from 7pm, through the Pedagogical Channel, on the online platform on Youtube, and interested parties can access by clicking HERE.

Classes will be taught by teachers from the Municipal Education Network, José Edson, Lívia Emanuela and Luís Carlos.

“The main purpose of the class organized by the Planetarium and House of Science of Arapiraca is to offer students a comprehensive review of the content that will be covered in the Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympiad (OBA). In addition to serving as an important support in the preparation of participants, the event provides an interactive and dynamic approach, allowing a review of fundamental concepts in astronomy and astronautics. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers at all schools, whose commitment has been fundamental in ensuring the participation and success of students in OBA 2024”, said the director of the Planetarium and House of Science of Arapiraca, Jhonatan Neves.
