Former Cruzeiro midfielder, Willians is on the run from Brazilian justice for failing to pay his daughter’s child support, which amounts to R$700,000. The player is being sued by the child’s mother.
The information was initially released by Record. Currently, Willians lives in Portugal with his wife and other daughter. According to the Metropolises, The midfielder’s defense confirmed the existence of the debt, but did not agree with the amount.
The defense also alleged that Willians expects to receive late payments from some clubs where he played in his career to pay off his pension. In addition to Cruzeiro, he played for clubs such as Corinthians, Internacional and Flamengo.

Willians was hired by Cruzeiro in 2015, after two seasons at Internacional. The contract with Raposa lasted three seasons, but in two of them he was on loan – 2016 to Corinthians and 2017 to Goiás.
In total, he played 41 games, scored two goals and provided two assists with the Celestial shirt.
