New images of supposed fictional models (dummies) of the next line of iPhones were recently released by the leaker Sonny Dickson, which offer the best look (so far) at some previously speculated design and size changes.
The first image (below) shows four models — representing, of course, the “iPhone 16 Pro Max”, the “iPhone 16 Pro”, the “iPhone 16” and the “iPhone 16 Plus” (respectively) — with some options for different colors from previous disclosures.
It is worth remembering that the “iPhones 16 Pro/16 Pro Max” may be launched in four colors, while the entry/intermediate models will supposedly offer up to seven color options.
The image above also highlights the slightly larger displays of the “iPhone 16 Pro” and “iPhone 16 Pro Max”, which should be 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively (compared to 6.1″ and 6.7″ of the current).
Meanwhile, the “iPhones 16/16 Plus” are expected to maintain the sizes of their predecessors (6.1″ and 6.7″). Speaking of which, the leaker also released a close-up photo of the camera area, which corroborates the change in lens/flash arrangement.
Similarly, the leaker Majin Bu also released an image of mockups which show both the back and the front of what could be the next iPhones.
You dummies supposedly serve as replacements for real devices, assisting third-party accessory manufacturers. The new iPhones are expected in September this year — let’s see, therefore, if what we are seeing today will come to fruition.
