Iñigo Martínez, defender of Barcelona, rioted last Sunday (31), at the door of CT Joan Gamper. The defender got out of the car and clashed with a tiktoker who had insulted him.
In a video that went viral on social media, the defender was leaving the Spanish club’s training center, when he stopped the car and got out to talk to a fan, who had insulted him.
“May this be the last time you call me stupid, the last time you insult me, and your friend the same,” said Martínez, face to face with the tiktoker.
“And don’t be arrogant,” added the player before getting back in the car and driving away.
According to the newspaper Sporttraditional in daily coverage of Barcelona, the reaction is justified.
This is because the culé club’s athletes, day after day at the door of the CT, in addition to journalists, are stopped by fans who are looking for photos and signed shirts to sell.
According to the vehicle, it is common for athletes to jump on the hood of vehicles or even hit the windows to force athletes to stop. If it doesn’t happen, they offend the players, provoking reactions like those of Iñigo Martínez.
The solution, however, is not simple. Because they are in a public place, fans cannot be expelled or removed by Barcelona, complicating the relationship between athletes and fans who have no ulterior motive when it comes to teaming up.
