The São Léo Open ended, after a week of many games, its 2024 edition. Around 80 athletes of different nationalities were present in a very high level competition, which defined its singles champion this Sunday (31).

At just 19 years old and having received a Wild Card to participate in the tournament, Paraguayan Adolfo Daniel Vallejo was superior to Frenchman Enzo Couacaud and became the big winner, beating his opponent in two sets (6/2 and 6/3), in the central court of the São Leopoldo Tênis Clube.

“It was an incredible weekend where I won my first international title. I would like to thank the organization, the people who supported me. I’m very happy, it was a very beautiful tournament”, celebrated Vallejo after the match.

Director of the tournament and Quadra Eventos, José Carlos Júnior Ferreira, celebrated another successful edition. “We have reached the end of another successful edition and lots of praise. It is gratifying to see an event of this size, with so many people involved and dedicated to making it all happen. On the court we had quality games. The public was present and was able to watch from close to high-level games. We were also able to propose parallel activities outside the courts, cultural spaces, shows… We are very proud and excited to have delivered an edition of this size and put the city of São Leopoldo at the center of attention for tennis lovers. “

The Banco BRB/ENGIE Professional Tennis Circuit – São Léo Open has Master sponsorship from Stihl, in addition to co-sponsorship from Unique, Higra and Superlegal through the Federal Sports Incentive Law of the Ministry of Sports of the Federal Government. The event is organized by the Leopoldense Sports and Culture Association (ALEC) and promoted by Quadra Eventos.
