One of the hottest coaches in European football this season, Xabi Alonso frustrated the dreams of several giants, announced this Friday (29) that he will continue in command of the Bayer Leverkusen.
The decision was confirmed by the coach in a press interview in Germany.
“I had a good conversation with Bayer Leverkusen and told them that I will continue at the club,” said the coach, who has a contract until June 2026. “After a lot of talk about my future, I took advantage of the break to reflect and make my decision. For me, this is the place to be.”
