Brazil is guaranteed the 2024 U-17 Women’s World Cup. This Thursday, the Brazilian team snatched a 2-2 draw with Colombia with two goals in two minutes and remained in the lead in the final quadrangular of the South- American who offers three places for the World Cup to be played this year in the Dominican Republic. Undefeated leader of group B of the South American Under-17 Championship, Brazil entered the final quadrangular with a rout. The Seleção defeated Ecuador 4-0 at the opening of the decisive phase.
The second opponent in the final quadrangular, Colombia gave Brazil a scare and took a 2-0 lead. The Seleção entered the game after conceding the second goal and scored two goals in a row. One in the 15th minute with Juju and the equalizer a minute later with Myka.
With only one round remaining in the South American quadrangular, Brazil guaranteed at least third place in the competition, regardless of any other result. Three South American teams qualify for the U-17 Women’s World Cup through the tournament.
