In an official statement, Leicester announced the dismissal of the dismissed coach. The note also says that Willie Kirk’s punishment comes because of a violation of the code of conduct that left him in a “unsustainable position”.

The portals The Guardian It is The Athletic revealed on March 8 that the Leicester coach was in a relationship with one of the players, without revealing the athlete’s name.

Shortly after the news aired, Leicester said it would launch an internal investigation and removed Willie Kirk as manager.

The following day, without Kirk on the sidelines, Leicester beat Liverpool 2-0 away from home and advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s FA Cup. The opponent in the next phase will be Tottenham on April 14th.
