Blumenau and Ituano take the court this Thursday, at 7:30 pm (Brasília time) at Ginásio Galegão for the classification phase of the Women’s Basketball League.
The Santa Catarina team’s most recent commitment took place last Friday, in the 74-53 victory against Mesquita, in Rio de Janeiro. The MVP was wing/pivot Glenda, who had her birthday the day after the game and scored 25 points for Blumenau.
The team led by coach Bruna Rodrigues broke a sequence of three defeats and is ready to face Ituano, occupying 9th place with seven points.
Ituano beat Ponta Grossa 86 to 63, in Paraná, this Tuesday. Pivot Gabi Guimarães put on a show, scoring 25 points for the red and black team and captain Joice scored a double-double with 15 points and 13 assists.
It was Ituano’s third consecutive victory in the league, with nine points and occupying 7th place in the table.
