Virna Jandiroba will have quite a responsibility in his next fight in the UFC. Fifth placed in the strawweight rankings (52 kg), the Brazilian will perform this Saturday (30), in New Jersey (USA), against the promising Lupita Godinez and, at the same time as she aims to defend her position, she also seeks to get closer to a fight for the belt. If the Mexican wins, ‘Carcará’ points out that two compatriots are on their way towards the status of challenger for the division title.

In an exclusive interview with the Ag. Fight, Virna, sincerely, said that she has her eyes on Amanda Lemos and Jéssica Andrade, if she manages to get past Marina Rodriguez in the duel that takes place in April. In fact, it makes sense for the Bahian to look for a clash with the duo, since Amanda is number three in the UFC strawweight rankings and a former title challenger, while Jéssica holds fourth place in the category’s ranking table and the former champion. As she already has a history of confrontations against compatriots, the veteran opens the door to a new encounter.

“It really depends on the UFC’s plans. Being conservative, I expect at least one more fight. There may be more coming, but that’s what I expect. I was doing an analysis of the girls who are ahead, There’s Amanda (Lemos), waiting for the results from Jéssica and Marina. I already fought with Marina, Jessica passing would be a possibility. Anyway, it’s these two girls. With Tatiana, we already have a plot, but it looks like she injured her knee again and will be sidelined. It’s a scenario that plays out like this, but it’s unpredictable”, declared the fighter.
