The celebration at the former player’s home, in the Esplugues de Llobregat neighborhood, was to celebrate his father’s birthday.

Daniel Alves appears in court the day after party

This Thursday (28), Daniel Alves also appeared for the first time at the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia. This was one of the conditions for the Spanish Court to grant provisional freedom.

The Brazilian appeared in court alongside his lawyer, Inés Guardiola. The Spanish court ordered him to appear every Friday, but the first appearance was brought forward due to the Good Friday holiday.

At the ex-player’s father’s party, reporters who were in front of the house told the Telecinco channel that the gathering of friends lasted until 5am. Furthermore, Daniel Alves’ wife, Joana Sanz, was not present at the party.

Daniel Alves was released from prison on Monday (25) after paying bail of 1 million euros (R$5.4 million) and handing over his two passports. The former player cannot approach the victim within 1,000 meters, but is not prevented from receiving visits from friends and relatives.
