The steering wheel Thiago Medeiros made his debut for Flamengo Sub-20this Wednesday (27), for the Copa Rio. The Amapá native provided an assist for the red-black team’s second goal, in the 3-2 victory against Madureira.
“It was a very good game, and debuting with a victory was even better, right!? I’m happy for the start with the Flamengo shirt, I hope to be in the next games with this shirt, always giving my best, and helping my teammates on the field” , said the athlete.
With the victory, Flamengo took a breather in the competition. The team had just three points from four league games.
Born in Macapá-AP and revealed at Trem Desportivo Clube, the 20-year-old athlete will stay at Flamengo until the end of the 2024 season, after a loan from Atlético-GO with the possibility of purchasing 70% of the athlete’s economic rights.
At Dragão, the player scored two goals in the Copinha and participated in the last editions of the national under-20 competition. In 2023, Thiago was part of the two-time professional state champion group and played in 9 Goianão games. The player will perform at Ninho do Urubu next week.
