The Neo Química Arena attendance record in 2024 no longer belongs to Corinthians, owner of the stadium. This Wednesday (27), 44,804 payers were present in the stadium’s stands, reaching the most significant number this season.
The previous mark had been reached in Corinthians x Santo André, in a game valid for the penultimate round of the first phase of Paulistão. On that occasion, there were 43,379 paying guests present at the stadium, in a match that ended 3-2 for Timão.
It is still possible that Santos will play again at the Corinthians stadium if they opt for the venue in the Campeonato Paulista final. The initiative to send games to São Paulo is part of a campaign promise by President Marcelo Teixeira, who seeks to obtain greater box office numbers.
