In the last fight of the UFC Vegas 91 preliminary card, held this Saturday (27), in Las Vegas (USA), Rani Yahya explored the movement a lot in order to put pressure on Victor Henry from the first moments of the fight. Afterwards, the Brazilian sought a grappling fight and managed to land two takedowns on the American, but was unable to keep his opponent on the ground. The two athletes went for striking in the second round and connected good blows, with a slight advantage for Henry, who was more precise in his actions and ended the round by firing several ground and pound strikes.

Taking advantage of Rani Yahya’s obvious wear and tear, Victor Henry continued landing the best blows and even knocked the Brazilian down with a right cross. From then on, the American went up and, after another sequence of blows, emerged victorious by technical knockout. With the result, the fighter from Brasília suffers his second consecutive defeat in Ultimate.
