Trio of squad arrives in Brazil, and Palmeiras will have ‘reinforcements’ for the Paulista semi

Called up to defend their respective teams, Endrick, Murilo and Richard Ríos arrived in Brazil, this Wednesday (27), after international friendlies. The Palmeiras trio, who left the Spanish capital, made the trip on the private plane of Leila Pereira, president of the club.

On the way to São Paulo, the players began a physical recovery process with Gustavo Kaschel, Verdão’s physiotherapist, aiming for the confrontation against Novorizontino, in the semifinals of the Campeonato Paulista.

However, they will be evaluated by Palmeiras’ medical department and the technical committee, headed by Abel Ferreira, to find out if they will be available for the clash.

Defender Murilo, who did not participate in the matches against England and Spain, only has wear and tear from the trip and should start the match among the starters.

Endrick, a striker for the Brazilian team, entered the second half of both friendlies and found the net in both. Against England, he scored the only goal of the match, held at Wembley. Three days later, he scored Amarelinha’s second goal in a 3-3 draw with Spain.

Richard Ríos, in turn, was the Palmeiras athlete who received the most minutes on this FIFA Date. The Colombian midfielder participated in the second half of the 1-0 victory against Spain. Against Romania, he played the 90 minutes and participated in the goal scored by John Arias, who also plays in Brazilian football.

Verdão faces Novorizontino this Thursday (28), at 9:35 pm (Brasília time), in the Paulistão semifinal, when the team returns to Allianz Parque.
