Jair Bolsonaro’s youngest son, Jair Renan, became a defendant in Federal Court in DF, accused of the crimes of money laundering, ideological falsehood and use of a false document.

The order is from the 5th Criminal Court of Brasília, released this Wednesday, March 27th.

The case involves the alleged use of a false document by the company Bolsonaro Jr. Eventos e Mídia to obtain a bank loan that was not paid.

The falsification would involve a company revenue statement of R$4.6 million. The company was closed after obtaining the loan.

The complaint from the Public Ministry of the Federal District (MPDTF) responds to a request from the DF Civil Police.

Jair Renan’s company was closed days before police operation

Target of operation by the Civil Police of the Federal District on August 24, Jair Renan is accused of borrowing one of events that allegedly earned R$4.6 million per year to a partner for obtaining fraudulent loans.

Investigators suspect that the partner may actually be a orange. In March, the company Bolsonaro Jr Events and Media stopped being Jair Renan’s and passed to Marcos Aurélio Rodrigues dos Santosowner of a shooting club in DF.

A few days before the operation, according to Veja, Santos closed the business’s activities. Today the company is listed as closed in the Federal Revenue register.

“The investigation pointed to the existence of a criminal association whose strategy to obtain undue economic advantage involves the insertion of a third party, ʽfrontmanʼ or ʽlaranjaʼ, to hide the true owner of the shell companies or ʽghostʼ companies, used by the main target and your companions”said the DF Civil Police in an official note.

The DF Civil Police investigations were concluded in February this year.
