Economia and SGG carry out a technical visit to the State of Santa Catarina to learn about SIGEF

Employees from the State Secretariat for the Economy and the General Secretariat of Government – ​​SGG carried out a technical visit to the Finance Secretariat of the State of Santa Catarina on April 24th and 25th/2024. The objective of the visit was to learn about the Integrated Fiscal Planning and Management System – SIGEF of Santa Catarina and the processes implemented for Planning, Budgetary, Financial and Accounting Execution.

Participating in the visit, for Economy, were the Central Accounting superintendent, Ricardo Rezende; the Financial Superintendent, Marco Antônio Fernandes Filho; Budget Superintendent Kellen Kris; the Budget Preparation and Review manager, Pedro Henrique Nogueira; superintendent of Information Technology, Bruno Póvoa; manager of Program Evaluation and Public Policies, Armando Melo; IT manager at the Central Subsecretariat for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Rhaynneman Rogério. Sammys Cesar, Systems Manager, participated from SGG.

The State of Santa Catarina developed the SIGEF which, currently, according to the evaluation of the BID and GEFIN, is in its 3rd generation, adding functionalities for accounting, accounting and administrative compliance, physical monitoring, collection, payroll, debts, contracts and court orders, PPA, LDO and LOA, private companies, budget execution, financial execution and bank reconciliation, using technologies: C#, .Net and Oracle. Therefore, SIGEF is considered one of the most modern SIAFICs in the country.

The exchange of experiences is fundamental to the process of evolving budgetary, financial and accounting practices in the State of Goiás, and its evaluation also meets the recommendation of the Court of Auditors of the States of Goiás (TCE-GO) for the improvement of the State’s SIAFIC .

The delegation from Goiás was received by the director of Accounting and Tax Information, Graziela Luiza Meincheim; by the manager of Tax Information Systems – GESIF, Michele Espindola; and by Marcelo Pereira, from GESIF. The SEFAZ/SC team presented the modules: administrative, multi-year planning, budgetary and financial execution, accounting, integrations and other complementary functions, highlighting the good management practices of Santa Catarina implemented in the system.
