Team Foco reinforces the charitable nature of Moto Rock

On the 12th, 13th and 14th of April the 6th Edition of the Moto Rock Festival will take place. The Concha Acústica lawn will become the setting for those who share a passion for motorcycles and those who love rock, who seek fun and music. The event also has a charitable nature and seeks to raise resources for assistance entities in Garça and, mainly, for the Support House for Cancer Patients in Jaú.

In the midst of everything, the solidarity and work of the Foco Team, organizer of the event, who, in a press conference held on the afternoon of Wednesday, 27th, spoke about the work carried out and the importance of the Support House for Garça patients. The president of Team Foco, Mariane Perez, and Angélica Cantú Teixeira, who makes up the team’s board of directors, brought details of what will happen at the event, which is 100% charitable.

“It is with great pride that I am president of Team Foco in place of my mother, who passed away last year, and we are here with the sixth edition of Moto Rock, which is an incredible event, which brings motorcyclists from all over the region. There will be music, stalls from Garça entities, whose sales of their products will go to them. There will be joy, fun and good music. We will have stalls that will be there to offer food, Piramba Kids, which is cycling for children. There will be lots of fun, lots of rock. A nice rock to listen to. It’s going to be incredible, an incredible event”, said Mariane.

Before talking about the event and the Support House, Angelica Cantú spoke of how grateful it is to be part of the board of Team Foco. “It’s very gratifying for us. It was a wonderful invitation I received. It’s great to be part of the Foco Team with a view to solidarity. Being from a charitable entity is unparalleled, it is a great gratitude”, she said, highlighting that Moto Rock should bring more help to the Support House.

“It’s a very family-friendly event, with something for everyone, with lots of food, lots of rock, lots of good things. We will also have camping and the camping space this year has a well-organized structure, with exclusive bathrooms for campers”, added Angélica.

According to her, moto rock, in addition to Garça entities, also has exhibitors from abroad.

“There are stores, there are tattoos, stores with motorcycle equipment, helmets. Everything focused on the theme and on Sunday, at 10:30 am, there is mass with Father Edson, who is the biker priest we have in the region here. I met him, he is incredible and at the end of the Mass he has the blessing of the motorcycles and helmets. So if you have a motorcycle and want it to be blessed by Father Edson, just go there at the end of mass. It’s very cool, very tasty”, said Mariane.

Returning to saying that the event is 100% charitable, aimed at Team Foco, Mariane, advised that, if bikers from the city and region want to participate and park on the lawn of the acoustic shell, a fee of 15 reais will be charged, to help the entity . Participation is free and just arrive by motorbike, car, bicycle, public transport, or even on foot. It’s about arriving and having fun with the many possibilities offered by the Moto Rock festival.

“The important thing is to be there having fun with us and, for pedestrians, we are asking for a kilo of non-perishable food to be added to the Support House in Jaú”, they said. “Sixth edition, lots of people coming, the stalls were all sold out. Plan and come with your motorcycle and your family to the traditional Moto Rock de Garça. Come by motorbike, by car, by bike, on foot. It doesn’t matter how, but don’t miss it because it’s very good”, they invite.

It is worth remembering that in this sixth edition of the Moto Rock Festival the presence of the following entities has already been confirmed: Hosfram, Fazenda da Esperança, APAE, Lar dos Idosos and Patrulha Juvenil de Garça.

The Moto Rock Festival is already consolidated and is part of the municipal calendar of events. “It is the first event of the year, which opens the actions on the lake. It has been on the municipality’s official calendar for a few years now,” said Mariane.
