Here we show you all the details of the Brazilian’s first show with Slipknot, which took place this week in California. But what you might not remember is that Eloy played in Glory in 2011, when the Metalcore group experienced a tense moment at the biggest festival in Brazil.
The band led by Mi Vieira was scheduled to open Palco Mundo on the “Metal day” of Rock in Rio, which was returning in 2011 after a ten-year hiatus. No pressure!
Later, the stage would receive shows from Coheed and Cambria, Motorhead, Metallica and his own Slipknot. The Sunset stage also had a heavy line-up with Angra It is Graveand the festival audience thought that one of them should be in Gloria’s place.

Already considered one of the most promising drummers in Metal at that time, Eloy played a drum solo in the third song that left everyone in awe.
Afterwards, Gloria edited two covers of Pantherwith beautiful versions of “Domination” It is “Walk”. And that’s it, after that there were no more boos heard at Rock in Rio – and it’s certainly something that won’t happen again in Eloy’s career.
