According to data released by journalist Ancelmo Gois, the arrival of international tourists in Rio de Janeiro is expected to grow 27.3%, considering the week of the Madonna show, according to Embratur. The increase in the arrival of visitors from other countries is a comparison with the same period in 2023.

At the moment, there is a record of almost 7,500 airline tickets issued from other countries arriving in Brazil via Rio. The data is from the Forward Keys platform.

In relation to interstate buses, the Rio Bus Station informed that, on the day before the show, that is, 03/05, the terminal should register intense movement of arrivals, with an increase of 20% compared to a normal Friday, with travelers coming mainly from São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Holy Spirit.

Viação Guanabara, for example, plans to implement 30% overtime on the lines that connect Rio to SP, MG and the Federal District.
