Having debuted in theaters in November last year amid the actors’ strike, The Marvels It was the biggest failure in the history of Marvel Studios in theaters, earning just 206 million at the worldwide box office.
And as always, with a project failing, the studio ends up recalculating the route of its future projects, and unfortunately, a solo project by Monica Rambeau was discontinued within Marvel Studios, said insider DanielRPK on his Patreon.
Although her solo project was cancelled, the insider reinforced that her story should be told within another project, just as Scarlet Witch had her arc within Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The cancellation is truly a shame for us fans. Who watched The Marvels You know that the best thing about the film is when the three characters are together. If the film failed and didn’t get a good rating from critics, This is the sole and exclusive fault of a bad script, not the characters.
What do you think? Would you like a Monica Rambeau solo project in the MCU, or would you prefer her story to be told within another film or series? Comment with us below, and finally, stay tuned to Marvel Legacy so you don’t miss any news!

EVERYTHING ABOUT MARVELS
The Marvels is the continuation of the billionaire Captain Marvel. The film had a script written by Megan McDonnell (WandaVision) and took place in the present day of the MCU, after the events of Avengers: Endgame!
New MCU director Nia DaCosta commanded the sequel. Obviously, Brie Larson returned Carol Danvers. Just as we had the return of Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, from the Ms. Marvel series, and Teyonah Parris, Monica Rambeau from the series WandaVision. Two characters featured in the series, now in theaters.
The film also featured the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and MCU newcomer Zawe Ashton, who played the film’s villain Dar-Benn.
The film is available in the Disney+ catalogue, and you can check out our review by clicking here.
